The \u201cBlack men are bigger\u201d myth just got debunked<\/h1>\n

Spoiler alert: The whole \u201cbig Black men have big dicks\u201d trope is a giant myth. If you\u2019ve ever wondered why do Black people have big dicks\u2014or more accurately, why people think Black men do\u2014buckle up. This age-old (and pretty racist) stereotype just got debunked.<\/p>\n

As he bares it all (pun not intended),\u00a0psychologist Bill Johnson\u00a0spoke his classic\u00a0HuffPo<\/em>\u00a0op-ed\u00a0piece on the complex issue of stereotypes, challenging preconceptions about size, and the quest for self-acceptance in the Black community.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at the \u201cBlack men are bigger\u201d stereotype<\/h2>\n

\u201cI have a problem with my dick size\u2026it\u2019s not big and I want it to be! \u2026\u00a0I\u2019m also Black, and the \u2018word\u2019 is all Black men have a large phallus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Psychologist Bill Johnson in his Huffington Post op-ed<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to Johnson, he doesn\u2019t know exactly how large he is because he\u2019s never actually measured. If he had to guess, though, Johnson says he\u2019d probably land in the \u201caverage\u201d category. But the real problem, Johnson points out, isn\u2019t the size of a penis at all. Instead, it\u2019s the racist stereotype that because of his skin color he\u2019s supposed to be bigger, thicker, longer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
